All Certus GPRS/USSD POS terminals in one closed system establish secure connection with Transaction server (TS) using GPRS or USSD protocol. On the other side, TS is securely connected with all users and distributors within the same system.

   Server software controls complete POS terminals communication, content/service provider communication and database communication. Each transaction includes terminal verification and validation - depending of current database settings. This step enables system to grant or deny access for terminal/seller to continue with transaction. Real time terminal controllability allows implementation of various business models.

   The system is designed in a modular way. This design enables further extensions in both hardware and software sense, on both system components side (Terminal and Transaction Server). Our recommendation and whole idea of Q PAY SPOT system would be to expand system on a service level, i.e. offering new services (various bills payments, other prepaid services, credit card processing, debit card refill, etc) to the market trough the same terminals. This would allow benefits to all parties involved: customers, vendors, distributors, service/content providers and Certus.

   System architecture and functions supported offer the possibilities for adding more services on the same terminal already installed on site. The changes in Terminal firmware will be accommodated in changes in Transaction Server components (implementing new bridge toward new service/content provider and making changes in database/reports which follows adopted business model).

 

 

   The WEB Server interfaces with the (limited) outside world - allows secure web access to authorized users and insight into status of the point of sales under their jurisdiction. Besides its typical assignment, at the same time it designates the location where various kinds of reports are generated.
